What's your prescription for the Church to take care of health care?

Pretty much the same as the State's: contract private insurance networks, pay the bills.

I don't have enough experience in that area to suggest anything better, though I trust in the free market to generate good ideas.

I've been saying this forever. It's the only sane option.

I know what some people might say, too: "Then who would want to be a politician?"

My answer is simple: "People who either (a) already live at that level, and would like to change it; or (b) are very selfless and dedicated to the well-being of their neighbors."

I think it would be fun to enact the change first with those already in office, though.

I read your impassioned rant at [pconvict...i forget his sn], about posting style; so, I'm curious:
what you think of mine?I'm a pedant and a grammar nazi, I can't deny it. But what was really at work in that case was that the fellow got on my bad side. So, I stopped being willing to overlook his offenses ( ... )

I mean, you can disagree with me and still be a good person. Dead freaking wrong, of course, but a good person. ;-)
lol you're pseudo-diplomacy*

Yeah, we disagree, to a pretty dramatic degree, sometimes.
I'm pleased your ego seems as sizable as mine: in that this does'na phase you in the slightest.

I wish I had more expertise in punctuation: that's my only real concern in regard to my "style."

*"What? there was another part to the response?"

It was just a joke. I'm not so convinced of my infallibility. ;-)
