Not for me, although other books on the professor's list include The Great Gatsby and Catcher in the Rye (among other things), which were books I did read in high school.

Well, even though I agree that UAA isn't the best university, at least it's an entry-level history class that's like this, and it's the only class I've discovered that's like that. I think the professor just isn't very creative... or smart. She never put a finished syllabus on Blackboard, and the one she put up there was filled with typos and other errors.
