aha, i've already argued this situation a few times for the past couple of days and have read a few articles from each side, but here's what i've arrived at

I don't honestly believe that the student presented his medical condition, that would be retarded. And it obviously didn't kill him after 5 shocks, proving tazers are just that safe.

student witnesses claimed, during news interviews, that the student told the cops he had a condition after being tazered once. i don't remember/know if it's audible in the video clip or not. i'm going off all of the information i gathered from the related videos and articles i've seen/read.

there are multiple cases of tazers killing people who were drunk, on drugs or who had medical conditions. they're fairly safe otherwise, yes.
