Okay, let's see...

Jane Austen: Moving the thumb stick in a circle creates subtle innuendo that causes all opponents on less than half health to grow lightheaded.

Thomas Hardy: When close to the end of his health bar press DOWN and both shoulder buttons and a second health bar will appear so you realize just how much lower things can get.

Daniel Defoe: The power of indignance - to ignore his opponent's attacks due to moral superiority. He can't hurt *me*, godless fool.

Charles Dickens: Literally ENDLESS combo attacks. When you think he's done with his kicks he throws in a random punch just to sustain the attack longer.
