...Since, in his retrograde Old Testament way of thinking "every sperm is sacred." Yeah, come on, I want to see a bunch of us dudes nailed for "wasting life."
You know, as a sort of "neo-Catholic," I take the Church's proscription against abortion quite seriously. I also take her proscription against divorce seriously, too. Does that mean that "Christian love" dictates I should meddle in the lives of those who don't have my beliefs and values and FORCE 'em to conform to mine? No, I'd rather seek to persuade one woman at a time. That's what Jesus Christ would have done, rather than try to enlist the coercive force of the state, in His cause. It seems to me that President Clinton's idea to make divorce legal but largely unnecessary was a far more "Christian" thing to do than what Bush and the Republicans are pushing for.

Yeah, definitely...and you should check out his stance on gay marriage, I mean sodomy-based relationships.
