Well, I just got back from Israel, and the only thing I could possibly complain about is the fact that I have some intense jet lag. Many wonderfully powerful things happened there, and though I am tired, I am also very refreshed

Lets take a brief look at that verse in the greater context, which is Matthew 12:22-32. It starts out with Jesus performing an exorcism and a healing on a man. The Pharisees, not wanting Jesus to gain more followers, said that it was through a demon (that is, a hateful spirit) that he drove out hateful spirits.
Then, he draws out the fact that there are only two camps; love and not love. He follows this by saying that "Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men". Thus, speaking against the Holy Spirit is rejecting (through words or actions) God's merciful forgiveness.
Hopefully this makes sense. I just cranked this out, and more clarification might be required.
