Somewhere it has been said that a shuttle launch is the world's biggest tailgate party for the world's shortest event. Indeed, for STS-134, they said that it was less than half a minute (I have heard 22 seconds and 8 seconds) before the shuttle was obscured from view by the clouds. Hi! I stumbled upon this entry and loved it. I really felt like I was in your shoes watching the launch from your eyes. Beautiful! I especially appreciate it because the low cloud cover did block my view of this launch.

We seem to have some things in common, that is, being Catholic and loving space. Mind if I add you as a friend?
