Simon's standing by the bed, looking down at the datareader in his hand, tapping the last item on his list with a stylus.

"...and I think everything else we can go ahead and pack," he's saying. "We're not likely to need it between now and the move."

"I can't believe you made a list." A little wry, as she shakes her head.

"I wanted to be sure we weren't forgetting anything." Mildly.

Kaylee sits on the edge of the bed, leans back on her hands, looks up at him. "How detailed are you, item-wise?" Tilting her head, with a faint smile. "'Cause I can think of a couple of things it might not pay to itemize, lest that list fall into the wrong hands."
