I'm trying very hard not to think about the US elections, but it's kind of hard not to. And so it occurred to me that S Palin very easily becomes Spalin, which is quite an obvious nickname for someone with a rather extreme voting past, be they left or right

I'll be crossing my fingers over here, for whatever that's worth. And not JUST in sympathy either. There is no such thing as watching the US from a safe distance.
