Oh, yeah, this is fantastic. Alicia is believable and the thing with Pete makes so much sense with the motivations you've brought in, and I like her struggle with knowing she shouldn't do it but doing it anyway. *loves*

Thank you so much. The thing I was a little worried about was presenting Pete The Asshole, which is just ... really overdone. I'm glad he didn't come across as flat.

No, you really did steer clear of that. He's just a guy, who's in the middle of something, and Alicia makes the choice herself. It works and it's nicely balanced.

more seriously: i really like the little bits you added about why she's doing what she's doing, and why it's upsetting her. it really works, and it really sets things up with mikey too.

Thank you! I think Alicia gets the shaft in characterization (well, a lot of women in fandom do) and it's nice to see that people are interested in shit from her POV.
