[There's a soft creaking noise in the background and when he speaks again his voice sounds slightly distant as though he's leaned away from the PDA, probably sitting back smug in his seat.] Please. Don't sit there and act like you don't know what they are. C'mon, you're not that stupid, I know you aren't. Hmmmm... [slyly] For all we know, you could be one of them. Now the question would be: is it even feasible to picture 'Prince Wayne of Gotham' as a masked vigilante? I mean, you do have the time and most importantly--the money. Not that I'm making any conjectures. See, I don't know a whole lot about you, Wayne. Just that you've got a massive ego and you're a little, mn... 'fake as a wedding cake'.

And is that so? This -fear- of bats? Funny, when I was a kid, my childhood fear...was the circus. The clowns, y'know, they really terrified me. [All bullshit. He likely doesn't even remember what his childhood fears were.]

You just admitted you don't know very much about me at all... so how do you know what I do and don't know? What I pay attention to? Most people assume I don't pay attention too much--probably because I couldn't tell you who the latest governor of the state is much less who's a masked vigilante or not. [pause] But you're right--I do have a lot of money that could be put to good use in helping all of Gotham. That's what fund raisers and donations are for. And I contribute plenty to those sort of efforts in aiding the city.
