The Gonryomaru: What Can It Do?

Introduction:
Now it comes as no surprise that most of the information I am about to write below about Sasakibe's zanpakutou will be mostly head canon at best but here is my valiant attempt to guess at what his powers may be without fully going out in left field. This is by no means set in stone because as soon as Kubo Tite gives me something to work with in the upcoming chapters of Bleach, I will edit the hell out of this section.
With that said, feel free to bring up any concerns regarding this section if you have any.
BASIC INFORMATION (Canon)
Zanpakutō: Gonryōmaru (厳霊丸, Solemn Spirit): An average katana with a ornate double-fanned hand guard and a yellowish-green hilt.
Shikai: Its Shikai command is "Bite" (穿て, ugate; "pierce" in Japanese materials). In its shikai, Gonryōmaru transforms into a rapier, fitting with Chōjirō's appearance.
Shikai Special Ability: Even though the abilities of his Shikai is still relatively unknown in BLEACH, within the latest filler arc in the anime version of the animanga; it seems that the Gonryōmaru may have electric-type properties within it's attacks. Since these attacks haven't been named yet in the series, I will be relying on head canon to fix this problem until more is introduced about Sasakibe's powers.
However, for this moment forward, the Gonryōmaru is now going to be introduced as an electric type
THE SHIKAI
Shikai Special Ability:
Hotaru Shiden (Firefly Swordflash, 蛍紫電): Within the form of a rapier-like foil, the Gonryōmaru creates a powerful electric current within it's blade. With every strike, the blade produces a powerful purple/violet electric charge against it's opponent's sword that looks like a streak of lightning. The effects of this shikai is very similar to the effects caused by touching a live wire. If the the Hotaru Shiden is blocked, the electrical current produced by the blade can flow into the opponent's sword causing their limbs to go numb momentarily.
It is also possible for Sasakibe to use the Hotaru Shiden other than within close quarter combat by using it's power to summon forth lightning from the blade itself to strike his opponents.
Bankai: Not yet achieved but imagine the sheer damage the Gonryōmaru is capable of! XD
