i will never be able to wrap my head around the fact that people put time and effort into gay marriage bans. i mean, if you are going to turn off your tv and actually DO SOMETHING, why not try to fix an actual problem instead of policing culture?

It is because they are the loud majority, and they can certainly dish it out, but sure as hell can't take it. They hold everyone up to a selective standard which magically favors them.
I think insomnia made a good point about how they used so much funding from religious institutions which, I think, is illegal. They want the world shaped in THEIR image, not (insert whatever divinity you wish here)
