Nine Miles of Twelfth Night

Last night I had a very wonderful evening, along with a very liberating and mildly overwhelming realization. I can go on nine mile walks whenever I want on a whim. I'm working at the University of Illinois at Chicago this summer, and yesterday evening mercuric9 I walked from the Little Italy neighborhood to the Shakespeare Theater on Navy Pier, saw Twelfth

It -is- kind of awesome to be able to walk several miles on a whim. We have good company, good weather, good health, and freedom to do so.
