I've been thinking about making this post for awhile. I'm just now getting some time and clarity to my thoughts. Before becoming a parent I used to think that some parents dont give their children enough distance. Wow. This post is exactly why you needed to be a parent. You'll figure it all out. And just think... every hour you spend apart means the reunion will be that much sweeter :)

I totally understand about the separation. Wish I could say it gets better but my "baby" is now 31 and though I let go in degrees at all the appropriate stages, children are a part of your heart forever. That emotional bond, for Mom and Dad both, is part of the design.
Good news is the bond sorta stretches as they age and lack of physical proximity is not as painful.

Izzy is very fortunate to have had so many tender thoughts (and awesome photos!) captured in print for him to read later!!

Love and prayers,
Freda
