Well it has been awhile since the last posting...
Izzy is officially a year old!!!! We celebrated with family last weekend (see photos below). I guess you could say the theme of this birthday was music. Izzy received maracas, bongos, ukulele, and music cd. Also, Gymboree time with Grandma Tempie. The other theme was vehicles, especially

Sounds like a lot of fun! Wish we could have been there to celebrate with you and the whole family, but we sent lots of love from California.
Since I moved here I've found that I am the conservative, sugar-pushing parent because I had a cake for Maya's 2nd birthday. At most kids' birthday parties it's zucchini bread, tofu pie, and hemp brownies (for the adults).

Interesting...we didnt really want Izzy to have the sweets but couldnt resist. We had carrot cake for the adults, does that make us a little granoloa. Of course it was store bought which is probably another no no. I've always thought of you as a conservative (hee hee), you are one of the most granola people I know.
