That's awesome... I'm inspired by that. I'll remember this, one of a very small list of "to dos" with my children someday.

That sounds interesting, but I've never heard of it. Baby sign language? Should I just google?

it's American Sign Language but without the complexities. The signs have to be simple not only because of the baby's comprehensive skills but also because of baby motor skills.

Studies show that babies can communicate long before they develop speech.

William does a few signs. Light and Fan. Right now, 15 months he exploding a little more verbally. I've lost count on his words. So much fun!

The sign language thing is amazing, isn't it? We did the same for Olivia and it sure made life easier for all of us. Enjoy and know that each developmental stage is better than the last. (Until they become teenagers, that is.)
