Why do you insist on doing that?

This goes out to everyone who uses an LJ scheme which kicks me fully into their own journal as soon as I post and then I have to make an effort to get back to my own journal.

Why do you do that?

I really want to know.

NO SHIT!
That bugs me as well.
Those people are selfish and they suck.

Yes, and I love your icon.

I don't think I know what you mean. But it sounds like you should check the option which always appends "?style=mine" to lj links you follow from your friends page.

Based on your response, I think you do know what I mean. But I don't know where to find the option you're talking about. I read through some of the LJ documentation and ... I'd say it's all Greek to me, but I know Greek a little bit :-)

Go to the manage user info page, and check the box that says "View comment pages in your journal style", which is about 80% down the page. I'm not entirely sure that this will solve your problem, as I've never experienced it, but it seems to be what hober is talking about.

thanks for the help - this is good.

However, I just experimented, and while this allows me to VIEW in my style, as soon as I post a comment I am stuck in the other user's style. And then it takes an extra couple of clicks for me to get back to where I was.

And I am so goddamn important that an extra couple of clicks is too much to ask of me.
