You know, Thomas is the only real friend we have there.

Keep in mind, Thomas was completely on the wrong side of the Hamdi and Padilla cases, where only Scalia got it right.

We have no friends on the Supreme Court. Face it.

They apparently don't get any good weed in Supreme Court, so consequently they're incapable of appreciating its medical usage. :-) But if they got the facts they might try it for their own ailments:

Oh, and:
"a majority of justices wanted absolute proof that not a single gram of homegrown medicinal pot would ever make it into the illicit market"

In other words they want to protect the illicit market from lower-priced medicinal grade cannabis. I can understand their concern there, there's a lot of business riding on it. LOL

don't these jerks get interns to do most of the hard work? The latest issue of REASON has an interview with a guy who wrote a book about senile justices who let their law clerks (not interns) do all their work. He saved his worst vitriol for Blackmun ( ... )

Don't those in the halls of power realise the constitution was written on paper made from the evil weed and the first flag of the Union was also made from that infernal plant. Are those national treasures to be declared evil as well? Imagine if they just said no back then.
