I'm sorry to hear this... I know he's had a pretty hard last year with family drama and such. I'm not local, and I can't do much more that be sad across the internet.

If there are any memorial websites or places to send flowers, rememberences or whatnot, would appreciate knowing the details.

I was fortunate enough to hang out with Matt for a single afternoon back in 2005. I wish we'd had more chances for that, because the blinding intensity he wrote with online didn't exactly facilitate interaction, and I was always one of those stubborn "not a phone person" types.

I know he continued to read my comics even though we didn't pass each other in the online hallway that often. I'm glad to have contributed some small amount of entertainment to his life.
