(no subject)
My keyboard is all sorts of yuck. Must clean it.
Starting feeling sickly last night. Feverish, sore throat, head pounding, etc. Woke up feeling even worse. Subsequently, I called in sick. Went back to bed and didn't get up until much later.
Been meaning to post pictures of the the dress I made:
Should be starting on a shirt soon. I've got a lovely tie-dye fabric.
Went to Ottawa on Thursday for len's graduation. Had a lovely time. She's the best. Must remember to post pictures soon. The weather was perfect. Had some great food. Fun times.
Friday was spent with Nick. Mmm. We went paddle-boating at the Old Port, and then had gigantic hotdogs. Ended up at HMV, where I acquired: Muse - Absolution & Mes Aieux - En Famille. Tried to avoid all the Grand Prix hoopla madness. Yikes. Went to Second Cup and had far too much sugar. Ended the day with some fun times and cuddles at my place.
Saturday, I worked and then met up with Nick. Went to Second Cup (where they were playing a great mix of Radiohead songs!) and had drinks. Got together with Bri and Amanda, and the four of us went to a yummy Polish restaurant on Prince Arthur. Our waitress was pretty kickass. She asked if we were from Winnipeg when she saw my Weakerthans shirt. Had planned on seeing the fireworks with Nick but we got there too late, so we just lied on a blanket for a while. Another lovely day.
Have been in my pyjamas all day. Watched some Cowboy Bebop and lounged around for the greater part of the day. Should be feeling fine enough to go to work tomorrow, though.

So many things I want to do, books I want to read, movies I want to see, shows I want to attend... Oi!
