Simon and I had a lovely weekend away ... WITH NO KIDS!!!! An old friend of Simon's (they've been friends since they were 5) got married at the most beautiful winery in Red Hill down on the south east coast of Victoria. Stunning scenery, lovely ceremony, good company, and of course lots of wine ( Read more... )

It's good the kids are back at school. They need it. Kids need their minds occupied.
Those wineries in Red Hill are divine.

The place was stunning.

Gosh... it must have been quiet without the kids. I think it's probably important for couples to have some alone time... did you miss them while you were away? I think it's fine if you didn't *giggle*

lol. I wasn't away quite long enough to miss them ... we left at lunch time Saturday and were back by lunch time Sunday.

Maybe another day (or week??) and I'd miss them!!

lol. That's so funny!!! I went to the maze about 6 years ago. Pretty boring! lol.

You would've taken the road towards Daylesford to get to the maze (you would've seen the intersection where the young boy from Connor and Max's school was killed last year where the toys and flowers are). Well, instead of turning there, keep going and turn the next right and that's my street. You were within probably 100/200 metres of my house!!!!! lol

Absolutely we'll hook up next time you're down this way.
