Mockingjay Releasing Early to UK and NZ

According to Mockingjay.net, the final book of the trilogy will be available on August 2nd in the UK and New Zealand. That's a whopping 22 days before the US August 24 release date. This is very surprising news for a book this big to be not released simultaneously but so far it's legit according to distributors. We'll have to see if Scholastic ( Read more... )

The party was actually the one on twitter yesterday where she read the manuscript pages. It was at Scholastic headquarters. It's up on the blog now.

I tried to embed the countdown clock in this post and it didn't work sadly! :(

It's up on Scholastic's blog now. The party wasn't actually at BEA it was at Scholastic's office. I didn't hear a whiff of her at BEA either.

WTF man? That's so not cool. Good to know there's a way to get the book if I really need it sooner though. I may be able to hold out, especially since I again plan to get the book from the library, which will be well after the August 24th release date.
