Maëlle is my french teacher's 7-year-old girl, and she is a huge inspiration for me. If you have already seen mi_iseul 's entry regarding this, you'll already know, but in case you haven't, here is the basic idea

Hello, and thank you for telling us about Maelle. I'm sorry she has myasthenia and autism - that's so much for anyone to go through. Especially for a seven year old girl...
She sounds so lovely and sweet. I am very glad that many people love and support her so much. I have emailed some poems written by myself, and some websites with online children's stories (the stories are in English and French). I hope she will enjoy them!
I will post about Maelle in my journal too. The scrapbook sounds like a wonderful idea. I am sure she will love it!
Thank you so much for your support! Your email has been received, and the poems are so cute! My friends and I will work to translate them into french to the best of our ability, and put them in the scrapbook along with the original English text. The websites will help her smile too!
And thank you as well for your entry in your journal about Maëlle. Hopefully with all our voices we can put together a scrapbook with enough smiles and hope to light up the bleak hospital visits.
It just occurred to me (I haven't had time to edit all the entries about this yet) but it would be nice to have an introduction page at the front with the signatures of all who participated. Kind of like everyone's personal mark on the scrapbook. If it isn't too much trouble, is it possible to scan in a picture of your signature? (Your real signature isn't needed) I will be photoshopping all the signatures on to the first page of the scrapbook.
Maybe seeing all those names will help her realize she is not alone.
You're very welcome! :) I'm glad that you liked my poems. I hope that Maelle will enjoy them and the websites, too.
I'm afraid I can't scan my signature, as I don't have a scanner. Scanning signatures for the scrapbook sounds like a great idea, though! It makes it more personal.
