I am use to sciences and visual arts and I was never good at English. I find that I treat my words like pictures, constantly sketching over them eliminating the imperfections. I realise by doing this I am stripping away my personality, because my personality is an imperfection in its self.
I want my words to be a true representation of who I am, but

mm, i would think that the corrections that you make are also an expression of your personality.

I feel my corrections are expressions of my fear of unacceptance and my paranoias about people prejudging me based on my words. You're right though. My fears affect my personality and my words are reflecting on that.
