Of All The Things That I Have Lost...

... SLEEP is the one I miss the most.

I hate my cat, Godiva. Any time she wants fed, she feels perfectly comfortable making her wishes known at my door, no matter what it is that I'm doing. And then I can't go back to sleep, because it's just something that happens with me.

Yes, I know I'm going to have to have the same thing with a baby.* ( Read more... )

You should look up recipes for Kitty Pot Pie, Cat Dum Sim, Slab of Tabby, Catsagna, Kitty Con Carne, etc. If anything else, you'll be sleeping better and you won't have to worry about Gail saying how you never make dinner.

Yeah. That's the thing about going to Masters school and working full-time, and wanting to see my wife for a few hours before bed. It, basically, leaves no time for any other kinds of enjoyable activity.

So, yeah, I've ostracized myself from most of my friends in the world. But, I'm told the rewards are well worth it. We shall see.

Just remember, if you ever need to see me just read aloud the text written in Sumerian on page 23 of that book that I gave you. You know the one, bound in human flesh, written in the blood of bad customers, while being blessed by the priests of ancient and mighty Rimerthulhu? Of course you do :)

Now that I think about it, I don't know how my life would be without Red Dwarf, so I must thank you again for that :) *screeches like Cat*

How do I summon you? Look in a mirror and chant, "Goofy Dancer, Goofy Dancer, Goofy Dancer"?

*grins*

Smeghead.
