It's been a long 27 hours, but I'm happy to report that Cameron Michael Ford is alive and well at Renaissance Womens' Center.

Congrats on the new addition to the family! It's good to see that everyone is doing well, and young Cameron will be using his lungs to full capacity soon enough I'm sure (aka many long nights where he will be testing the full limits of his lungs, much to the dismay of mommy and daddy).

Believe it or not, the special little guy has only cried when the nurses pinch him or force him into an uncomfortable position. Otherwise, he makes little "attentive" noises to make you pay attention to him, like little coos and pseudo-giggles.

Oddly enough, much like his father did.

And Aunt Deanna is rubbing it into Grandma and Grandpa Ford's faces that she got to hear not just one, but TWO of these sounds on the phone.

YAY! I know you called me this morning and I'm sorry if I sounded short, but I'm hardly polite when I first wake <3 But YAY baby! I will be sending off your gift soon >.< As I forgot until you mentioned that you were taking Gail to the hospital last night.

For such a crazy pregnancy, Gail-honey was blessed with a rather quick delivery.

Actually, Jeri, our roommate, correctly guessed September 2. Now, it will be a measure of how close she was on birth weight.

But, I can still probably give you an online trophy or something...
