PHASE I: Get Cameron down to normal atmospheric oxygen concentration. Complete!
PHASE II: Wean Cameron from respiration hood. Complete!
PHASE III: Reduce Cameron's respiration rate. Complete!
PHASE IV: Remove jaundiced appearance from skin. Unfinished
PHASE V: Get Cameron to nurse properly. Unfinished
So, he has to stay in the hospital a little longer, but that's all right. We actually decided that since Gail's no longer required to be at the hospital (and the hospital's actually needing all of its rooms for expectant mothers now), that we would just come home, since we're only a mile away in case of emergencies and for feedings.
However, much as the title of this post implies, Cameron has been put on new machinery. Now, what you're about to see looks like a cross between the Blue Man Group and TRON, but it's really just Cameron under his new "tanning bed." Actually, it does a sci-fi loving father quite proud to see his baby like this:
