On Friday, September 5, Cameron was out from under the Billy Blue lights. With nothing but an IV keeping him from being with his parents (and Gail's family still there), we got to bring him back to our room:
This was also the first time Cameron got to meet his cousin, Alyssa. I think she was a bit shocked:
Luckily, Nana and Papa were at-hand:
Then, Daddy got to really hold Cameron and feed him for the first time:
The next day, Grammy and Grampy Ford swapped in for Nana and Papa Martin:
Then, late LATE on Saturday, September 6, the IV was removed, and we were allowed to take our Little Guy home:
And, when he came home, he also got to meet "Aunt" Jeri, our roommate, for the very first time:
Of course, since he's their first-ever grandson, Grammy and Grampy have practically established Base Camp in our living room, which has been just fine with us:
And, you'd think that Cameron would actually use the positioner we paid good money for... BUT NO!:
I did a little photo-editing, just to show everyone how much our little guy has changed since we brought him home. Here's a before-and-after, hospital vs. home:
And it's amazing how much little Cameron already resembles his father:
[Go with the grace of tired parents and happy grandparents.]
