What's all this with frogs and snails and bats? Millicent, what is going on?

My "Best Mate" decided to tell Crabbe and Goyle the way to woo me was to give me a pumpkin and snails. I am terrified of snails. I hate them. They're--ugh.

That's nasty of him.

I've been fine, I think. Everything's been quite tedious lately; I'm starting to actually look forwards to Sarafina's letters, even they're on the sarcastic side, which is clearly an indication that I need to pick up my feet and enjoy things. Well, there's good candy and there's not-so-nice candy. I mean, some candy tastes good and some doesn't.

What has everyone been doing?

Besides studying? I did something stupid, but for the rest not something spectacular.

What was the stupid thing? I suspect it has something to do with that Samhain party.

Samhain?
If you mean Halloween, then yes It has to do with the party in the Three Broomsticks. But I won't talk about it. Lets just say that my costume was a bit too perfect.
