Yeah but when close crops are the only thing people like of all your icons, it annoys. I'd sell my soul to devil to have an eye for complex icons and compositions. Negative space seems pretty natural to me so i try not to overuse it, though i'm not sure whether i'm successful :/

As for the icon, i just love it and i've always wondered who's made it. It's a masterpiece, you have the full right to be proud of it! :) Read it all with great interest :)

I'd love to be able to do that as well. Seeing it as a challenge helps me a lot. I'm trying to practice the things that don't come natural to me right now but, like you, I'm never entirely sure how successful I am.

Thank you so much. :)

It was really interesting to read your thought process! Of course the final product is absolutely stunning too. It has fabulous composition. Just spot on really. I absolutely admire how you decided to challenge yourself too! Thank you very much for writing/posting this. :D

Thank you so much - for all the kind words. I haven't been accepted into elite communities until recently, so it feels like I'm in this phase where I'm challenged constantly at the moment. It's kind of wonderful and scary at the same time. :)

You're welcome, I'm just really glad I was able to share this icon with others.
