It's inevitable for looks to be a significant attribute in how one would treat people. It's the first impression. The first thing you notice about someone. (True, no?) In order to have any sort of physical relationship with someone, looks is somewhat important. Obviously.
On the other hand... It sucks, I get it, I meannn, every day the level of beauty... and I don't mean just looks anymore either, is put on a higher and higher pedestal. We judge more harshly, more stern, with more detail... it's a washed up, boring cookie cutter world, man. Every day all day same. The best thing to do is just give a "fuck it" and move on. Trying to change, let alone comprehend, one (or every one)'s shallowness is worthless... or, at least, not worthwhile.
Realizing you're merely venting, not trying to change the world. Just my two cents. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Weird you have a livejournal.
