I agree that nothing ever matched up to Hot Fuss. I do love Sawdust, though; the covers (especially Ruby, their cover has become one of my favorite songs, ever) are brilliant and Tranquilize is such an awesome song.

Yeah, Sawdust was great! I just can't get into Sam's Town and especially Day & Age.

I agree. I never got the charm of Sam's Town and Day & Age doesn't feel right for some reason. I think most Killers fans (and casual listeners, too) agree that Hot Fuss was the best. I've noticed a pattern where every second album is really good and the ones in-between are kind of duds. I wonder if the next one is going to prove something or not!

Agreed. I just think they changed their sound way too much from Hot Fuss to Sam's Town. It was too drastic. It seems like their trying to be innovative and change with each album, which is good, but the change is too much. They just need to get back to the sound of Hot Fuss!

I've also started to listen to Kings of Leon this year and... now are my fave band EVER! I love all their albums and, as you said, OBTN is simply perfect!
