I would love for all the suffering in the world to be a hoax. Unfortunately, the more reputable news reports on the subject of Guillermo Vargas starving a dog to death in an art gallery are undetermined on whether or not the dog was or was not actually starved to death ( Read more... )

i completely agree with you.

this is such a sick and cruel act.

i really wish everyone who partook in this will be punished and be treated the same way as how they treated that innocent life.

this just disgusts me how ugly this world is sometimes.

Not to nitpick, but even if the dog died, the "artist" is not a murderer. I reserve the term "murder" for human victims. Moron? Yes. Complete bastard deserving of the same treatment he gave to the dog? Certainly.

As humans, we're supposed to take care of animals, not starve them for the sheer spectacle.

I think murder would be the premeditated causing of an animal's death without intending to use it's body for the purpose of food. Homo sapiens are animals.

I guess we are considering murder to be the premeditated killing of a member of one's own species?
