Count Chocula ALIVE AND WELL!!!!!

Much more disconcerting than the missing teen in Aruba (give up already she’s dead) is the recent disappearance of one Count Chocula. My favorite breakfast cereal still in production (Fruity Rice Krispies R.I.P.) suddenly stopped being in production a while back. Or at least that’s what I thought. Captain Planet! he's out hero!!!

Where in the world do you shop? I always find Count Chocula cereal when I am shopping, I dont however buy any because I dont eat much cereal and Ed doesnt really care for it. I have commented on the fact that I thought they no longer made Count Chocula cereal upon spotting a box in the cereal isle. I believe its Boo berry that they no longer make.

I usually saw the guy ALL over the place too, but maybe Count Chocula is one of those things you always THINK you see, but since you're not even interested in him you don't notice he's not even there. One of those fabrics of the quilt of Americana you just assume always in the background somewhere. Because lately he's been missing. I know Franken and Boo Berry both enjoyed a brief resurgence which has since ended, but Count Chocula is one of the staples of the General Mills corporation, they could never just ditch him...hopefully.

WOW

The hunt is on. Hunting for a vampire. Sounds like someone else we know...

And, on a side note, I concur with your statement about the totally unncessary and shitty Chocolate Lucky Charms. There's nothing good about that cereal whatsoever. It's a bastardization of two greats: Count Chocula and Lucky Charms. May they never meet ever again.

Good point about the Lucky Charms. way to Ruin two awesome things at once. It'd be like making a chocolate chip ice cream flavored Slurpee...no one wants that.

It seems kind of sad that Captain Planet went from protecting our planet and having a nationally syndicated cartoon to working for the Michigan State Government.

Well I think of him more as a HUGE CEO who looks after ALL of the states environmental agencies, and since America is the only country in the world that matters, in a way he is STILL protecting the world.
