Had one big brewing session this afternoon. Did my first partial mash which basically means three to four hours rather than one. While that was going, I bottled my lemonade and applied myself to debottling my dark ale. I started at around seven and it's now past midnight. I haven't had dinner yet and I'm really pooped. roo wants to brew beer. I think I will get him some stuff, but I don't know where to start. He's told me that there are a couple of stores (one specifically for brewing, one is a hardware store) to get stuff. I don't know what to get.

I've talked to roo about brewing beer a couple times on irc, he's pointed me to both of those store's websites bt I can't remember them and can't find the links. If you can, then they might have a good beginner's guide on them. There's a really good online book about brewing at www.howtobrew.com , including the equipment you need at http://howtobrew.com/section1/chapter1-1.html . I'd just use that as a starter, if you walk into one of those stores and say you want a kit but don't know where to start, they should be very helpful if they're a good store. Not all my entries have been about beer, but I agree a lot have. I though I'd been more moderate and varied of late, too.
