*waves* Just popping in to say, "Hi!" I haven't been around much and don't really have time to catch up on here (unpacking still and classes started two weeks ago), so let me know if there's anything major I should know about (even if it's just linking previous posts)!

Sounds like you're enjoying yourself! I am jealous of the shooting and riding! Have some fun for me!

Hi! I'm glad you're popping around, although it sounds like everything's stir crazy-busy on your end. I hope it's a good kind of busy.

There is not much major to catch up on -- summer job and a few things exploded for long enough that I had to turn everything off and retreat west for a bit of rest/relaxation/getting in touch with people I had tuned out for about four, five years, but all to good results. :) I'm back in classes on the 7th and everything should be back to normal by then, too. Or I will at least have stable net access again that won't be interrupted by fixing barbed wire fences and field work, as it happens.

For now, farm work & puppy play time.

ETA: RIGHT, post links, I keep forgetting I did a mass-private of crap. There's one here that basically breaks it down but uh, eh! I would not call it required reading, just venting. :D

I don't think I am that far from Eden Valley, actually. Nearer to Okotoks, but still not far! If it's the Eden Valley I am thinking of, at least. (Eden Valley 216, google says.)

Winter in the Upper Kananaskis like that sounds like it would be beautifully hard. Summer here's gorgeous (farmer's tan lines, sunburns aside), winter I think would transform it completely.
