clem dragged me all the way to harbord for fyreflyes tonight. wasn't really worth it to be honest. they didn't play bad. but between broken strings, kick drums coming to pieces, dodgy roadies, and not-too-great sound... well, yeah. didn't really perk me up all that much. was freezing in there, too. but enough whinging. at least i got out. Here is an uninteresting fact for you: I actually know that song word for word, as chance would have it. Weird thing is, i didn't ever particulary like it. I don't hate it, but i didn't ever play it or anything. It's weird how some songs, you just know, for no apparent reason, right?

i know exactly what you mean. i never liked it enough to buy it, or tape it or anything. but in the car i found myself singing along like i'd heard it only a day before. i think there are a fair few songs like that for me.
