She mightn't have had as bad a time of it was some, but that didn't mean Isabela was particularly happy about the weekend. Her favourite methods of not dealing with things involved sex, drink and dirty books, and she didn't have the first two handy, so she was stretched out along the bed with a pen and a notebook.

A tap came on her door. Anders wasn't having as hard a time with the amnesia as his friends, but that wasn't exactly a low bar to clear. Especially not when he was still recovering from the jaunt back to Thedas; everything else was going to be a glancing blow until he processed that.

Still, it wasn't good for him to spend too much time alone. And Isabela struck him as an excellent distraction.

"Hello there," he said from the doorway. "Working on anything important, or can I bother you?"

Isabela did have a talent for distraction, it was handy for lining one's pockets for one thing.

She put her pen down and looked over at him. "It's nothing that won't keep."

"Good," Anders said, with a funny little smile as he stepped through the door. "I don't have anything to say that won't keep either, I just don't feel like going back to my hut."
