So when I finished reading the twilight books, I immediately delved into the Southern Vampire mysteries by Charlaine Harris. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books.  I read all 8 in about 1 week.  They are short (about 300 pages each), fun and full of supernatural creatures, including Vampires. YAY.  The HBO show True blood coming on Sept 7 is based on these

Well if you tell me they are good I will try them... I just finished two Christine Feeham books.. I read one in three hours Saturday.. I will go looking this weekend. I love vampire books and I still have not gotten the Twilight books yet... Every time I go to WalMart I look for them and they are sold out. I guess I am going to have to break down and go to Barnes and Noble...
Are you going to watch True Blood?? If you do let me know if they are any good... I might still watch them.. I am jonesing for some vampire.

For your Twilight books, you might try Amazon.com. You can find the books cheaper on there and get free shipping. As for True Blood, I am so excited, I am definately going to watch! I will be sure to give you a comprehensive review after episode 1. :)
