H.R. 6320: Legislation for Improved Accessibility

This is it, folks. Finally, we have a decent bill introduced in Congress to update the accessibility of new and digital media.

I think those things are also useful for people who can see and hear also, they just don't realize it if they aren't readily available.

I agree, of course. I'm a total convert to captions. I get grumpy if I can't have them. I pay attention better and get more of the dialogue (especially useful when watching my BBC detective shows).

No kidding. Especially when native brits use expressions that haven't made it across the pond yet. Rewinding it and trying to listen to it ten times is a lot of aggravation that captions can alleviate.
