I'm kind of bitter about my childhood.
The only thing I know I did right for sure was begging my dad to take me to see Oasis when I was 11, and then asking for a guitar.
That's all.
My friends in elementry school were awful. And I don't talk to any of them anymore.
And it's better this way, I know.
I hate how I was planning on being exactly like them

1) You are possibly one of the coolest people in the WORLD and I am so intimidated by the coolness of you! So smile because you are loved.
2) People love to love you, and the people of which you speak are the types that people love to hate. I say stick with what you have.
3) I know what you mean. I knew the same types when I was in grade nine, and even though I hated them, I really really wanted them to like me. It's strange, but you get over it once you see how much cooler than them you truly are.
Mwahs all around.

Aria, I knew those girls too, and the only reason you wanted them to like you is because, at that school, there were no other options. They were to only "popular" ones, and if they liked you, you had a social life. Tess is lucky enough to not only go to a school where there isn't that hierarchical class division, but also where she has friends based on their own merits, not what they will do for her on the "popular" scale.
Dear Tess,
Can you tell how much I hated those girls and their popularity? I went to public school with them, but Aria was stuck with them for grade nine, too. I didn't even apply to that high school when I was in grade 8, cause I think I would've killed myself if I had to deal with their bs for another 4 years. bitterbitterbitterbitterbitter.
