3 miles...

38:24. About a minute slower than the personal best I set yesterday, but I think my recovery is improving for sure, and my endurance is improving at least a little, so I should be able to set a new personal best time next Sunday I think.

How much weight have you lost since this all is going on? Not much, I imagine, since I expect you're building large muscle, too. Are you sporting a six-pack yet? lol, I would get about 1/17th that distance at that pace and collapse into a molten heap :3

I've only lost a few pounds. 200 down to 196. And no six pack yet, and I'd be scared to show you if I did; you might try some of your gay homosexual shenanigans on me. :) I'm trying to attract the LADIES, dammit. :) I don't think you're ready for this jelly... :)

Check out Warrior Dash or Spartan Race on youtube. It's running with FIRE added. It will do until a zombie uprising comes along.

Remember, "Rule Number One: Cardio."

Why do heterosexuals always assume they're at the top of our lists for straight-guy conversion? :p Get in line, mister - you're between the cute hispanic maintenance guy and the 20-something blonde from Admissions I see at the gym occasionally.

Frankly, I'm surprised you're losing any weight at ALL - when I started going to the gym in earnest (i.e. when my mother-in-law stayed with us for a freaking MONTH), as soon as I started on large-muscle leg-type stuff I put on like 30 pounds. Have you at least noticed your clothes fitting differently? Tight in the shoulders instead of the gut? Button-downs don't button down anymore? your old socks no longer have enough cankle fat to cling to anymore? :D

keep up the good work, bro :3

Well, at least I'm in a good spot on the list; nobody wants to be a Last Call Betty. :)

I've got from 41 inches around the navel to 38. The waistline is looser and it's easier to buckle my belt, or go down a notch. I don't do much upper body stuff at all, and my clothes are of the rather comfortable sort, with lots of extra room.

Spandex is a privilege, not a right. :) And like the guy in "American Beauty" said, "I just want to look good naked!"
