haha, definitely yes. I LOVE your icons. XD they're very dark and gritty, but you have a good sense of when NOT to use that style. your text is wonderful as well.

your icons are uber nifty. 83 they're dark and gritty, and totally unique. it's a style I definitely enjoy. but even better, not all of your icons are like that. some in fact are very bright and colorful, and the contrast is just fascinating to look at. you use text wonderfully as well(which is rare to find since many people just stick some on and say, "yup, that's good," and don't worry about font, placement or color). overall, your icons definitely just got you in. xD

Okay, I'm not a hotshot iconist, but it can't hurt to try, can it? Lets go:

I'm going to have to say no. while on some of these icons, I really like the coloring (especially in the first one. it's awesome) and the light textures, on most, it's too bright. also, the small text is unnecessary and other methods could be used to complete the icons other than white borders. but I definitely see promise in your icons, so apply again later.

I'm going to have to say no, unfortunately. your cropping is nice and in general I like your text, but I think some of your icons are overly bright and you seem to rely a little too much on white borders around your text and borders in general around your icons.

there's definitely potential, though, so I'd love to see you apply again later!

and don't worry about the number of icons, there's a reason we decided the application should hold 5-20, and it's that I agree with you. XD

I'm going to say no, partially because you didn't read the rules (if you had, you would have used the magic words in the subject), and I also think your icons need some work. you've got a good eye for cropping (#2 especially), but I would recommend working on your text and coloring, because at times it's washed out (#12) and other times it doesn't really look like much was done to it (#11).

haha, yeah, it's hidden pretty well. XD; I suppose you could say I'm mildly sadistic and really just want to make sure people read the rules.

I'm going to have to say no, unfortunately. partially because you didn't read the rules closely enough (if you reread them carefully, you'll notice there's a special phrase you're supposed to include in your application), but also because I think your icons could use some work. in general, you've got a good eye for cropping (#1, 2 and 4, especially), but your coloring tends to be rather bright and washed out and could use some work.

I'd love to see you reapply at a later date, though!

I like the cropping used in most of these icons, but in too many, detail is lost in the brightness of the icons. some are over sharpened, and the coloring is a little bland. I'd love to see you apply again later though. ^^
