as you may know, we put sophie to sleep saturday at 10 a.m. the night before, she passed out in the yard and was paralyzed except for her front right leg. she was in a great deal of pain. putting her to sleep was different, but just as horrible as i had expected. i will never just put her death aside; i think about her all the time: from the moment

i can't even think about life without my dog, so i won't. but i think that you are incredibly brave & i'm so sorry... no one deserves a loss like that. there's really nothing healing i can say, though i wish more than anything that there were. if i were standing next to you i'd give you the biggest hug everrr. [insert virtual biggest-hug-ever here]

p.s. i got a mole on my back removed when i was little and i bragged about my 2 stiches for, like, a week. the doctor said "it will hurt more than a mosquito bite but less than a bee sting" and i cried. but then i played it all matcho afterwards. :)
