As I complete the process of choosing classes for next semester and reserving my dorm room, I am loaded with thoughts about what I want to do with my life. My college education is reaching it's mid-life crisis. I have been in college for two years, and in two years I will no longer be here. I am starting to question if this is what I want. Wish I could tell you to stop your complaining, keep your head down, play the game and it will all work out. But I can't say that cuz I don't believe it. Life is a roller coaster - to appreciate the highs, you gotta ride through the lows. And not only that but as the coaster rolls, we got to do this balancing act - nourish the soul, care for the body, and expand our knowledge. Accomplish this and you will come to appreciate your existence. If you are one of those fortunate few who can identify a passion and mold the conflicting aspects of life around it, you may achieve a state of self-actualization. If teaching is strong in your soul, you should honestly consider it. And if you think a different school would be more satisfying, by all means, consider it ( ... )

I was wondering the same thing. Why wouldn't you become a teacher? Some of my favorite people are teachers.

you could always try at southwestern for a semester or two. we are going to sister schools yah know. plus, this is closer to austin. and austin totally kicks san antonios ass.

its funny how one weekend turned into an actual reality.
