What a way to start the day....
Okie, so I lied. I didn't update right away. It's harder than I thought. haha.
But yes, regarding the title of my entry, fellow fans are probably waking up and doing this: o_O to their screens as they look at their daily fandom news.
I had to place that somewhere before I forget including that in my entry.
On Wednesday, I didn't do much. I just bummed around my house. I did some ironing, which is so depressing to do in the summer because it's so freaking HOT. I did download some MVs that had a better quality than what I currently have. It's interesting and fun to see old MVs and comment on them. Wow.
Yesterday, I headed over to Irvine to hang out with a friend. I was running quite late because for like, 2/3 of the way, I thought I was supposed to go to Riverside. FAIL, yo. Thankfully I was able to realize before I changed directions. Aish.
We had some good and cheap fish for $8.00 and then wandered around Irvine Spectrum. It's a pretty place, and even if the sun was shining down on us, it wasn't too bad because there was a breeze coming from the ocean. Headed to the Newport Beach Sprinkles after that, and it's less packed than the one in Beverly Hills. I got 4 red velvet cupcakes and a banana one. Yum. <3
Of course, one doesn't finish a day in Irvine, especially if you're Asian, if you don't go to the 85 bakery. It wasn't as bad as usual, and they had the stuff that I wanted. Yay.
Had a fun time looking for a 76 gas station. The first one we went to was closed, so we had to head over to Santa Ana, which apparently wasn't too far. Had dinner at a place called Marmalade Cafe, and then headed home after that. Bummed the night away, with some LOL-ing from Junsu's Xiahtic lyrics (FAIL!), and went to sleep.
I had to wake up early today to head to Riverside to pay for the last part of my Japan trip. Too bad the person who is going to accompany me is still sleeping. Stupid brother. 6 more days! LOL.
Waking up to this news was a surprise, and at the same time, I wasn't too surprised. While going through my stalker mode by looking at other people's comments on an LJ entry, I remember reading a comment about problems between management and members regarding outside business ventures. Hmm...quite a no-brainer, but who has outside business ventures? JaeChunSu. I kind of pushed it aside, just because, I know that there are people who do know more than the average fan, and that's totally fine, but I do like cited sources. haha.
I mean, I applaud their actions. They're doing what seems proper for them. What I find interesting is that, from what I've been reading, is that it all started with the exclusivity clause of their contract. Gosh company, if you've just given them that, I think it wouldn't have resulted in this big issue. I mean, if the profit ratio is confirmed, they're just trying to find ways to earn more money for them and their families. Besides, as my mom said, "It is wise to have business alongside with one's career. You'll never know when the time comes that it is useful" Uh, too bad she doesn't have any. She has been looking though. I'm scared. XD
I also like that Yunho and Changmin are staying out of this. I mean, I'm going to assume that it's because the main reason is the exclusivity clause that I guess, doesn't pertain to them. Of course, if the company is smart, they'll revise the contract for everyone because if not, that's like another lawsuit waiting to happen from the tall boys later on in the future. Niice HoMin, letting the short boys do all the work. LOL.
I don't know. For some reason, i'm taking the news in an amusing way. I have no idea. I guess I'm cynical like that. haha.
The world goes round and round, yo. Staying out of soompi for awhile, that's for sure. I don't really want to skim through a bunch of comments that are going to make my eyeballs roll out of my eyes or hurt my head from all the facepalming I will be doing. *sigh* Okie, waking up my brother so we can head to Riverside.
