So I just got done watching Merlin. One ep a day, so basically under a fortnight I'm through with the series. I have to say, its really grown on me. I thought the first few eps, with a couple of exceptions took more than their sweet time to take off, and felt a little too repetetive to me. A case of formulaic, lather-rinse-repeat, basically.

I'm also amazed, like you said, by how she changes her mind the minute Uther expresses regret over what he's done. To her, it's ALL about that one thing; she doesn't think further than that. She's impetuous, she's very spontaneous and that makes her extremely dangerous. I can see her turning against Arthur if he ended up doing something she thought was wrong. I love that ambiguity about her.
Gwen, on the other hand, is as steady and consistent as can be, and that's one of her best qualities. And for these two girls to be as close as they are while having such polar opposite personalities ... it speaks volumes about how much they really care for each other.

So I wanted to sit and reply to every point on this post because I think I pretty much agree with everything here, but then I realized I made a whole post about this that could easily serve as a comment, so I figured I would just link it here and leave it at that.
Did I mention I'm glad you're watching this show? BECAUSE I AM. \o/

//As much as I want to smack Uther at times I appreciate his character. He helps balance the mix and keeps things from being overly saccharine if you know what I mean.//
::nods:: Definitely.
//I wonder how he'll fit into the next season.//
I'm actually quite curious about this myself. I think he's probably going to have a bone to pick with Merlin now so things could get interesting.
