Ah, we had a lot of similar thoughts this episode, re: Clark/Chloe (I think I wrote pretty much the same stuff as you, and I'm almost at the end of my rope, too, but I continue to keep hoping, silly me), Waller, MM and Tess.

Where we differ is Chloe/Oliver (I know it's not rational to like them together despite not liking Chloe OR Oliver separately, but that's what shipping will do to you :P), Oliver (his rejection of Tess WAS hypocritical, but I can't blame him for not trusting her completely because she could still easily be playing all of them) and the episode as a whole. I did enjoy it quite a bit, especially because I usually tune out of action episodes quite easily, and this kept me hooked till the end. I also liked the absence of Zod, mostly because he's grown to be more annoying than menacing lately.

Why did Waller ask for a report of Tess' physical?I didn't get this either. Why a physical, of all things? Is she planning on doing something now that she knows Tess has gone AWOL? (I hope not, I want to see Tess make it to ( ... )

Heh, don't worry about it. If you like them - you like them.

//I hope not, I want to see Tess make it to the next season!//

So do I, but I have a nasty fear those annual 'big character death' spoilers (which must be circulating already I'm sure) will claim Tess this season. Which I am absolutely dreading, because IMO CF has been the shows best addition in a long while.

//I also liked her "I like to have my cake and eat it too. Mm-mmm." Hee! :D//

Loved this too!

I just want to hug this whole post, and take it out to dinner. *smishes you*

I am a little worried that people are going to start thinking we are the same person, just posting under 2 different identities. Hee!

We're heading towards S8 levels of end-of-season debacle, it seems. The whole Chloe/Clark/Oliver set-up is too familiar already not for it go down that road again. ::sighs::

YES! I have been saying this for weeks. I know you don't do spoilers, but I do, and I keep seeing the same warning signs on the road ahead. Why people think that these writers...the same writers from last season...are suddenly going to turn over a new leaf is beyond me.

I have no hope that Chloe is going to have any realizations in the upcoming episodes, because I have no hope that TPTB think that she should. Again, I feel like this is a debate I've had ad nauseum with some who are sure that, this time, the writers are going to get it right. But for me, I think the writing was on the wall as soon as they started this season, and REFUSED to have ( ... )

//Ollie lecturing anybody on anything is just absurd.//

Good point. It's not just the irony of Oliver talking about trust and betrayal - but moreover that given his own recent shenanigans, he isn't in ::any:: position to lecture ::anyone:: on ::anything::

Now I just want the season to end to put us all out of our misery.

That about sums up what I want to say. I'd even change "season" for "Smallville". I don't expect anything good from this show anymore. All I ask is that it doesn't annoy me too much and even that it can't or won't do.

Yours is a great review for a crappy episode of a rotten show.

::waves:: Good to have you over. :-)

Heh, tell us how you really feel, Carol--- ;-) No, but I can completely see why you would feel this way - especially after this crapper of an ep. Sometimes I too wish I could quit the show, because really, talk about pissing on Clark fans, over and over and over. But what can I say? I'm a glutton for punishment. ::sighs::

I'm fresh out of motivational feedback, heh. Not after an ep like this, I'm afraid.

I've been cold on SPN since last season actually and as much as I still continue to watch it, my emotional investment in it is just nowhere close to what it is for SV. So therefore SV has the ability to hurt me more. Damn bastid show, heh.
