But what was up with just traipsing off with the little girl in the beginning? And then sticking around to the point of actually having dinner with them? Did she not think Clark would be concerned? I thought was incredibly inconsiderate of her. My interpretation was that Lois went off with the girl primarily to get back at Clark for trying to "protect" her from a story she really wanted to do. I think she was punishing him (which was incredibly inconsiderate) but also attempting to show him she can take care of herself as she set off on her own to cover the anti-hero story.
But boy was she wrong about being able to take care of herself.
The first Clois scene was cute - and I liked that they were talking, and the questions and whatnot.I liked that scene too. But I think I would have cut it. I don't get why they chose leave the alien reveal off screen. Too boring? Too difficult to pull off

Honestly, what was she thinking! And I get that she was trying to punish Clark, but it was an incredibly juvenile way to go about it. I'd rather she had just gone off on him. That would've even been justified, because Clark was in the wrong, IMO, to decide for her which story she could or could not take. But the stunt she pulled? Was just that - a childish, selfish stunt.
